Nations' Park Every day Originally built for Expo '98, Nations' Park is a modern architectural showpiece spread along a three-mile stretch of the Tagus river in north-east Lisbon. Belém Cultural Centre Every day The Belém Cultural Centre is a relatively modern addition to historic Belém, but now dominates the city's contemporary music, dance and theatre scenes. Host to local and international artists and festivals, there is also a bar with regular live music. Tram 28 Every day Rickety old Tram 28 weaves through Lisbon's historic centre. Starting at Martim Moniz, it heads for the Roman settlements of the Alfama quarter, through bustling Baixa with its elegant squares and into bohemian Bairro Alto, popular with artists and writers. The museum looks out over the port of Belém, the place from which great sailors such as Vasco de Gama set forth to discover new territories. Monsanto Ecological Park Every day Monsanto Ecological Park is a leafy refuge from the bustle of urban Lisbon. Whether you want to explore the flora and fauna, play games out on the grass or just picnic in the shade, Monsanto Park is the best place near Lisbon to get back to nature. Oceanarium Every day Located in Parque das Nações, Lisbon's Oceanarium is one of the city's most popular family attractions. The four different habitats represent the coasts of the North Atlantic, Antarctic, Temperate Pacific and Tropical Indian oceans. The Global Ocean spans the height of the building.
