Originally built for Expo '98, Nations' Park is a modern architectural showpiece spread along a three-mile stretch of the Tagus river in north-east Lisbon. It boasts the vast Vasco da Gama shopping centre and cinema, an Oceanarium, the Living Science Centre, the Atlantic Pavilion (concert and sports venue), the Lisbon International Exhibition Centre (FIL), the Camões Theatre, Lisbon Casino and dozens of bars, restaurants and late-night venues. Belém Cultural Centre

The Belém Cultural Centre is a relatively modern addition to historic Belém, but now dominates the city's contemporary music, dance and theatre scenes. Host to local and international artists and festivals, there is also a bar with regular live music.
Tram 28

Rickety old Tram 28 weaves through Lisbon's historic centre. Starting at Martim Moniz, it heads for the Roman settlements of the Alfama quarter, through bustling Baixa with its elegant squares and into bohemian Bairro Alto, popular with artists and writers. Lisbon's Tram 28 might be old but it's one of the best ways to explore the historic centre of the city. Martim Moniz tram stop. Cost: €1.30 single.
Lisbon Zoo

Oceanarium

Located in Parque das Nações, Lisbon's Oceanarium is one of the city's most popular family attractions. The four different habitats represent the coasts of the North Atlantic, Antarctic, Temperate Pacific and Tropical Indian oceans. The Global Ocean spans the height of the building. Vintage signs and full liqueur bottles welcome you to Ginjinha do Rossio, a tiny bar carved into a wall just north of the Baixa district. Locals queue up for €1 plastic cups of ginjinha (cherry brandy) to sip outside with friends.
National Tile Museum
