Airports serving the Lisbon region

Lisbon's national and international airport is near Portela and is the only commercial airport serving the city. There are plans to extend the airport in 2007 and further plans to begin constructing a new international airport served by a high-speed rail link at Ota, 100 Km from the city, in 2012.
