| Non-local Voting in UK elections | Alan posted on 04/11/2009 at 15:28
e-mail Alan | Hi. Does anyone know what the score is with voting in the next election if you're abroad? Do I have to get a postal vote, or can I vote in some other way? And how do I go about registering? | ianshine replied on 06/11/2009 at 16:03 e-mail ianshine | All the information you need is on the About My Vote website.
If you're in Portugal on the day, you'll need to regsiter for a proxy vote before the election, and arrange for someone to make your proxy vote for you.
The forms to do this are available on the About My Vote website.
