My dog does not do well when I have to travel (which doesn't happen more than 2 times per year). last time I left she went to mother in law's house, but was so sad, had accidents and just couldn't cope with all the changes. I would like to find someone who might come to my home for 3 days and stay the entire time. Does anyone know of a service or have a contact who has done this? Thanks!

I'm hoping someone has a resource or suggestion for this. Surely there is someone else out there who has run into this situation - my dog can't be the only weirdo!

Hi
You don't say where abouts you are, but I have used www.petsitting.com.pt before to look after my cat. They haven't actually stayed but I do believe they offer this service as well, can't imagine that it will be very cheap though! Alternatively I have seen people advertise on here for someone to do it privately so I guess that may be as option. Hope that helps.

| Thanks very much Rula01! I have seen them online since I posted so it's good to know you have used them and like them. |

Hi,
My daughter does dog sitting and has references. She will live at the person's house and walk the dog. However she is in the States at the moment and only returning in December. But if you'd like to find out more or have any dates in mind, and say where you live, I will pass it on to her. She is calm and reliable and used to our three dogs! |
